From Sydney once you hit the expressway near Wahroonga, Tocal College
is just under 2 hours
drive.
Go right to the very end of the expressway till you come to the New England
Highway.
Once on the New England Highway, stay on highway till you come to a large
roundabout near
Maitland Railway Station (sign before roundabout saying Tocal College,
Paterson, Dungog) - there
is an overhead walking bridge over the highway just before you reach this
roundabout. Turn right
at this roundabout and follow signs to Paterson/Dungog.
Proceed up and over the railway bridge and turn left at little roundabout
near Maitland Station.
Drive round past the farming land on your left - come to another small
roundabout and go straight
through this roundabout past the Woolies Service Station on your right
- continue to a set of traffic
lights and go straight ahead up and over the Hunter River, through Lorn
and through more
farmland to Bolwarra - keep on main road following signs to Tocal College.
At the top of the hill
near the Bolwarra Service Station keep going straight ahead (don’t
take the right turn).
Keep on this road for another 5 or so minutes going through lots more
farmland, bush till you
come to a hill (after a windy bit of road) - turn left at top of hill
into Tocal College entrance. Once
in the driveway come to a T intersection and turn right and drive up driveway
500 metres approx,
turn right and follow road around buildings to locate the beekeeping field
