Welcome to Macleay Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association Incorporated
We are an enthusiastic and young club, established in 2022. Our club is open to anyone to join who is interested in Amateur Beekeeping.
The club’s aim is to support new and experienced beekeepers by sharing information, skills and knowledge and providing hands-on experience in our apiary, where we have many different styles of hive to suit all levels of experience and physical ability and mobility.
Club meetings are held at 11 am, the 3rd Sunday of the month, except December.
Membership
Membership runs from 1 July to 30 June each year and is $40 per year. $20 helps fund the operations of the ABA, including the provision of Public Liability insurance cover for every affiliated club. And, $20 goes to our club. (You can also purchase your own personal insurance at the time of signing up).
Inclusive Community for All Beekeepers
Our inclusive approach ensures that everyone feels valued and supported, regardless of their background or knowledge. We understand that each beekeeper’s journey is unique, and we aim to create a nurturing environment where members can learn from each other, share their experiences, and grow together.
