July Box Building Day

Join us on Sunday 31st July at 10:00am for a box building day with Bathurst Beekeepers.

At the usual meeting place of 3 Olympic Place, Kelso.

This day is an opportunity to learn how to build flat pack bee boxes, whilst getting your own ready for the Spring. We will also be making some for the club apiary.

Lunch will be provided for a gold coin donation.

RSVP is essential so we can order enough material for all of our participants.

We will be supplying 8-frame Full Depth Boxes including all necessary nails etc for $45.00 each. Please let us know how many you would like to purchase and build on the day. If you require a different size box, please email us with the details and we can arrange to have them for you. All boxes will be pre-coated with copper naphthenate. We will also be supplying prep-coat paint to get you started on painting your boxes. All of this is included in the cost.

We will bring some tools but ask that members bring a hammer of their own to ensure there are enough for everyone.

All pre-ordered boxes and materials will be ready for you at the venue on the day. All you have to do is turn up with your hammer! Payment can be made on the day with Cash or cheque made out to Bathurst Beekeepers Inc.
