Wagga Wagga

Wagga Wagga Amateur Beekeepers is a club which meets monthly at Charles Sturt University on the second Sunday of the month in Building111 Field Studies, Agricultural Ave, off Pine Gully Rd.

Hive inspections occur after monthly meetings weather permitting.

Our aim is to improve the knowledge and skills of beekeepers in the local area.

We are a diverse group of amateur and some professional apiarists who are happy to help new beekeepers who join the club.

Extracting equipment can also be borrowed at no charge to members.

Free morning tea is always provided at our meetings.

The club runs several langstroth hives, a top bar hive and a flow hive so members can experience different ways to manage bees.

Club has bee jackets that can be borrowed by new members and visitors.

Please remember not to use deodorant or perfumes when you attend meetings.
