Membership runs from July to June.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Members with any level of beekeeping experience gather once a month to learn, swap tips, catchup with friends, meet like-minded beekeepers, and discuss anything and everything to do with bees. We usually begin with a semi-formal news and Q&A session, and then break for refreshments. Practical sessions involve inspecting our Langstroth, Flow, Warré or Top Bar hives. At different times of the year, we demonstrate management tasks, perform pest and disease checks and extract honey.

Guest speakers and training sessions are organised on a regular basis.

Please bring your own protective gear. Tea and coffee available or bring your own refreshments.

Members can borrow our extractor, press and other equipment.

Beginners are very welcome.
