Meetings

Hawkesbury Beekeepers Incorporated meet at 7pm on the first Friday of each month.

Meeting venue and details are communicated by email, so if you are interested in attending our meetings, please join our mailing list below.

We usually hold a hands-on field day on the Sunday following our monthly meeting.

We support and welcome anyone with an interest in bees.

About Us

We have a great mix of people interested in both honeybees and Australian native bees.

We meet and keep our bees on the Hawkesbury campus of Western Sydney University, where we are uniquely placed to learn about the latest bee research projects.

We also volunteer to assist with research projects being carried out the Wheen Bee Foundation's research apiary, including a research project conducted by Dr Diana Leemon, from Agri-Science Queensland, that is looking at the development of an external lure and trap for small hive beetle (SHB).
