Hawkesbury Beekeepers Inc
Hawkesbury
We have a great community of beekeepers who are interested in both honeybees and Australian native bees.
Our club and members are focused on improving our knowledge of the gentle art and complex science of beekeeping. The club has an active presence in the community including stalls at the Hawkesbury Show, the Secret Garden Fairs and Kurrajong CWA market days.
The club runs “Beginning in Bees” courses for people interested in getting into beekeeping.
Meetings
Hawkesbury Beekeepers Incorporated meet at 7pm on the first Friday of each month at Hawkesbury Leisure and Learning Centre 114 March St Richmond.
We usually hold a hands-on field day on the Sunday following our monthly meeting and also the third Friday of the month at the club apiary at The Secret Garden Community Hub, Clydesdale Lane Richmond, (which is part of the Western Sydney University campus)
Meeting venue and details are communicated by email, so if you are interested in attending our meetings, please join our mailing list below.
We welcome members and interested non-members to both monthly meetings and field days.
